Dynamos seek consolation in EasyCall Cup

DYNAMOS are now targeting the NetOne Easycall Cup, as their last chance to end the season with a respectable piece of silverware.

The Harare giants’ league title chances became almost hopeless on Sunday, when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Caps United in Harare derby showdown.

Tonderayi Ndiraya’s men were also beaten 2-1 by Harare City in the Chibuku Super Cup final to closely miss a ticket to take part in the CAF Confederations Cup.

This weekend they play How Mine in the quarter-finals of the NetOne One Wallet Cup.

“Our focus now is winning the NetOne Easycall Cup. Remember we do not have a trophy in our cabinet this season,” Ndiraya said.

“We will push hard for that one so that it will be a face-saver for us this season. Our league titles chances are diminishing by each passing game but it is still game on.”

Dynamos were the NetOne Easycall Cup losing finalists last season where they succumbed to How Mine.

Currently they have gone for four straight games without winning in all competitions.
